Beijing is an amazing city to visit in China. It is very different compared to the likes of the neon city of Shanghai. Beijing is noticeably more traditional that Shanghai. The old way of life and character of bygone days epitomise the city. From the quiet Hutongs to the Forbidden City to The Great Wall of China. History is everywhere.

The renovated section of the Mutianyu Great Wall stretches for a few kilometres. Not far beyond the steep stairs, you will find the "Wild Wall" were the wall stands reclaimed by nature.
The Forbidden City houses one of the best preserved "Nine Dragon Walls" otherwise known as "Nine Dragon Screens."
The Temple of Heaven was the prayer temple for the Chinese Emperor.
