Dali, Yunnan Province, China
After being so amazed by Yunnan after my first visit, I was over the moon at the thought of returning to the distant province. This time, Dali was one of our destinations. The city is located along the shores of the beautiful Er Hai Lake. Dali's history stretches back to the Kingdom of Nanzhao, which was around the 8th Century A.D. Some of the historic landmarks include the Three Pagodas of Chong Sheng and Dali Old Town, which are around 1100 years old and 600 years old respectively.
